High School...Prepped at Bloomingdale High School... had a career batting average of .348... was nearly flawless behind the plate with a fielding percentage of .998... a four-year varsity letterman... member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society and the Rho Kappa Honor Society... received the Sheriff’s Rising Star Leadership Award... named the P.E. Student of the Year twice.
