MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The NCAA has released the final set of South Region rankings before the tournament field is announced with Montevallo women's soccer ranked sixth among the region's top programs.

Montevallo's sixth place ranking falls one spot from a week ago with the Falcons were fifth in the regional rankings. The Falcons went into the latest set of rankings with an 11-5-2 overall record against Div. II opponents and an 11-4-2 mark against in-region opponents. The Falcons join a set of four Gulf South Conference squads listed in rankings behind No. 1 West Florida, No. 3 Lee and ahead of No. 7 West Alabama. Nova Southeastern (No. 2), Embry-Riddle (No. 4), Florida Tech (No. 5), and Florida Southern (No. 8) round out the rest of the NCAA South Region rankings.
 
Montevallo will look to improve its ranking with a trip to the GSC Semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. as the Falcons take on Mississippi College.
 
The NCAA will announce the full 2025 NCAA Tournament field on Monday, Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. with the 2025 NCAA Div. II Women's Soccer Selection Show.
