NORMAN, Okla. The University of Montevallo mens golf team was awarded two players on the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars list released by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Senior Tripp Cash (Troy, Ala./Pike) and sophomore Aaron Ebert (Huron, Ohio/St. Mary's Central Catholic) were among 55 Division II golfers given this distinction.

MONTEVALLO, Ala. The University of Montevallo athletic department had 65 student-athletes named to the 2009-10 Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll. Mens soccer led all Montevallo teams with 13 members being named to the list. The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes all student-athletes at the 13 PBC member institutions who had a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.

AUGUSTA, Ga. The University of Montevallo mens golf team was awarded three players on the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Teams. Senior Tripp Cash (Troy, Ala./Pike) was named First Team All-Academic while sophomores Aaron Ebert (Huron, Ohio/St. Mary's Central Catholic) and Gonzalo Gambertoglio (Cordoba, Argentina/Instituto General San Martin) picked up Second Team nods.

MONTEVALLO, Ala. Eight of the top student-athletes at the University of Montevallo were honored with the announcement of the athletic departments annual awards for 2009-10. The announcement came at the annual athletic awards banquet held on the campus of the University of Montevallo last evening (April 28).

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. The University of Montevallo mens golf team closed out the 2009-10 season with a 6th-place finish at the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. UM finished ahead of Lander, Clayton State, Flagler, Georgia Southwestern and North Georgia. The Falcons were led by senior Tripp Cash (Troy, Ala./Pike) who finished tied for eighth overall with a three-round score of 224. Sophomore Aaron Ebert (Huron, Ohio/St. Mary's Central Catholic) came in just behind Cash in 16th place with a 226.
