My name is Justin Pratt, and I am the head men’s and women’s golf coach at UM. Our teams are composed of student-athletes who share a common love for the sport and a drive to excel both on and off the course. Like most programs, our student-athletes require the necessary equipment and resources for them to compete at their highest potential.
We have been committed to making new additions to our campus practice facility, including adding a turf hitting area and an artificial putting green, but our teams need a building to call their own. This building will give them a space where they can cultivate a sense of unity and focus on honing their skills.
Our plan is to build a 60-by-30-foot metal building with three garage door hitting bays located on the driving range. This multi-purpose building will serve as our team room and indoor/outdoor practice facility, allowing our student-athletes to practice all year round.
To make this project a reality, we need help from our loyal supporters and alumni! This project costs $150,000 total, and we already have two donors who have committed $30,000 to support this project.
