MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men’s soccer team’s exhibition match with Alabama A&M scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled. Alabama A&M is unable to compete in the match and have elected to cancel the contest. The Falcons will next be in action in their regular season opener at Columbus, Ga. against the University of Tampa on Sept. 3.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of Montevallo men’s soccer team was voted to finish tied for third in the Peach Belt Conference according to league coaches. The PBC Preseason Coaches Poll released today has the Falcons in a deadlock with Clayton State University for the third place team in the league.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of Montevallo men’s soccer team was awarded two players on the All-Peach Belt Conference Teams. Senior’s Nathaniel Foster (Brampton, Ontario/Humberview Secondary School) and Milan Pualic (Subotica, Serbia/Srednja Ekonosmka Skola School) each were named to the 12 member squad.

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo Athletics Hall of Fame Committee has announced its selections for the class of 2010. The committee welcomes three former student-athletes and one former student who attended the University prior to intercollegiate athletics being offered. All four members of the class of 2010 will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 10 on the campus of the University of Montevallo.

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo men’s soccer head coach Ken Hassler announced Wednesday the hiring of Bruce Dietterle as his assistant coach. Dietterle comes to Montevallo after spending the last three seasons as Hassler’s assistant at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina.
