Old Gym
Old Gym was opened in the fall of 2021 and was built for the enhancement of student-athlete performance. Originally, it consisted of 6-double sided power racks, 6-rubber impact platforms, Dual cable adjustable pulley systems, 6 trap bars, an indoor turf section, 2 turf sleds, a linear-leg press machine, various slam balls, a dumbbell rack of various weights from light to heavy, stackable soft plyo jump boxes, various accessory equipment (exercise balls, mini bands, resistance bands, ropes, cones, BOSU ball, attachable landmine equipment), Graduate assistant office, lifting belts, plate-loaded iso-lateral chest/back machine, and Chain Weight belt. In January of 2025, 6 more racks were added, bringing the double to 12 and doubling the capacity of the weight room. The basketball area was turned into additional workout space for teams with approximately 2,500 square feet of turf installed. The Strength and Conditioning staff can work out multiple teams at once.Â
