HOW IT HAPPENED

-The Falcons and the Braves went scoreless in the first half as each team was unable to capitalize in the opening period.

-The deadlock was broken in the 73^rd minute when the Braves placed a shot into the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead.

-The Falcons responded with a goal of their own when Liam Moore's shot in the 82^nd minute from 18 yards out deflected off a defender and into the goal.  The Falcon's equalizer goal late in the second period was enough to force overtime.

-It didn't take long for the Falcons to score the game winner in overtime.  In the 91^st minute, Sergio Gonzalez scored the golden goal off a rebound in front of the goal and was assisted by Patrick Morton.

The Falcons were awarded 12 corner kicks in today's match while only allowing two for the Braves.

BEYOND THE NUMBERS
