HOW IT HAPPENED

-The Falcons and the Mountain Lions faced off for the second time this season, this time in the quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Tournament. The Falcons came out on the attack and recorded three quick strikes and put two of them on frame.

-In the 16th minute, Austin Petrovich kept the Mountain Lions off the scoreboard with a clear that was near the goal line.  However, a minute later, the Mountain Lions found goal and took a 1-0 lead on a through ball to Carlos Gomez at the top of the box.

-The Falcons' defense held tough the remainder of the half and entered the break only trailing by a goal.

-The Mountain Lions found goal for the second time in the 51st minute.  A cross into the box found Ramin Varnhorn whose shot deflected in off the crossbar to give Young Harris a 2-0 lead.

-The Mountain Lions scored their final goal of the night in the 72nd minute to seal the 3-0 victory.

STAT OF THE GAME

The Falcons were outshot 18-8 in tonight's match.  The Falcons were able to put four of their shots on frame.
