MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's soccer team was defeated in conference play 2-0 by West Alabama on Sunday night. The Falcons are now 4-3-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in conference play.
The Falcons conceded the first goal of the game in the 35
th minute of play on a penalty kick that gave the Tigers an early 1-0 lead.
In the 60
th minute, West Alabama's Liam Ireland beat the goalkeeper for his second goal of the game and gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead.
