PENSACOLA, Ala. - The University of Montevallo Men's Soccer team fell to the University of West Florida 5-1 in its first Gulf South Conference road contest of the season. The loss is the first GSC loss of the season for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
36' | Teavon Spencer scored the first goal of the game to lead the Falcons 1-0.
45' | Jerry Wiltshire gave the Argonauts a 2-0 lead.
52' | Freshman Mario Gratzl scored the Falcons lone goal, early in the first half.
57' | Yuri Parisotto extended West Florida's lead to 3-1.
67' | Parisotto added another goal to lead Montevallo 4-1.
88' | Hakeem Reid added another goal for West Florida to lead 5-1.

GAME NOTES

• Freshman Mario Gratzl scored the lone goal in the match for the Falcons.
• Gratzl also led the Falcons in shots and shots on goal with four and three, respectively.
• West Florida outshot the Falcons 21-11 throughout the contest.
• Montevallo totaled six corner kicks in the match while the Argonauts totaled seven.
• The Falcons and Argonauts were each booked once in the match.
