Saint Leo, FL. – The Falcons dropped a heartbreaker to Saint Leo University on Wednesday afternoon.

After falling behind to the Lions 1-0 in the first half, Montevallo caught a break in the 71' minute when St. Leo was whistled for a hand ball in the penalty area. Senior
Vladik Margolin took the PK for the Falcons and buried it in the back of the net, tying the game up 1-1.

St. Leo squashed the Falcons hopes in the 88' minute when Federico Toschi scored, giving the Lions a 2-1 lead.

The Lions sealed the game in the 90' minute when Dylan Moriera put St. Leo up 3-1, following a pair of saves from senior
Robert Kuta in goal for the Falcons.
