HUNTSVILLE,Ala. - The Montevallo women's lacrosse team's historic season came to a conclusion, Wednesday, as the Falcons lost 13-8 to UAH.
Both teams were productive in the early minutes of the game, with goals scored within the first few minutes of the game. The Chargers went on to score three goals in a row making the score 6-4 by halftime. In the second half the Falcons battled but could not surpass the Chargers ending the game with a 13-8 loss.
The Falcons were led by
Rylee Horton who netted three goals with a ground ball and a draw control.Â
Anja Kuys added two goals with five ground balls, two caused turnovers, and five draw controls.Â
Caleigh Spoon was productive for the Falcons scoring two goals with one caused turnover, and one draw control.Â
Sadie Bopst was UM's only other goal scorer and also added a ground ball.
The Falcons end the season with a 8-4 record marking the highest win percentage in program history (.667).
