MONTEVALLO - The Montevallo women's lacrosse team fell short 18-14 against Flagler, Saturday afternoon at the UM Track & Field/Lacrosse Complex. The Falcons wrap up the season with a 5-11 overall record.

The Falcons were led by
Hailey Wilcox with five goals, along with
Anja Kuys who netted four goals.
Rylee Horton (2),
Lily McCormick (2), and
Adriana Perro (1) also added scoring to the Montevallo box score.
GAME SUMMARY
1st Quarter
Flagler scored the first goal of the game in the first few minutes of action but the Falcons quickly responded as
Hailey Wilcox sank UM's first goal to tie Flagler 1-1 with 12:49 left in the first. Flagler went on to outscore UM 2-1, rounding out the quarter with a 3-2 lead over Montevallo.
2nd Quarter
Wilcox kicked off the quarter with a man-up goal that set off a 3-0 scoring run to take the lead 5-3 with 11:12 left in the half. Flagler found two straight goals to tie the game 5-5, which led to them establishing a 8-6 lead at the halftime break.
3rd Quarter
The Saints increased their lead with four unanswered goals before
Lily McCormick netted the Falcons seventh goal of the game. Flagler tabbed three additional goals before the end of the period, holding a 15-8 edge over UM.
4th Quarter
The Falcons battled to cut down the Flagler lead in the fourth quarter, but the Saints held off UM's comeback efforts for the win.
