MONTEVALLO, Ala. --- On Thursday, Falcon Hall of Famer Paul Harold Kellogg was laid to rest at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.

Kellogg attended Montevallo where he played basketball. After college, he served in the United States Marine Corps where he obtained the rank of Captain and received the Bronze Star for Valor. He was a lifetime member of the Marine Corp League Howlin' Mad Smith Detachment.

After his military service, Paul held various roles from coaching, teaching, and working in administration for over 40 years in public school. In 1993, he was the State 2A Football Championship Defensive Coordinator.

In 1996, he was honored with an induction into the Montevallo Sports Hall of Fame.
