BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference announced the 2026 Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll this week, as Montevallo was voted to finish sixth.

The Falcons garnered 34 points in the poll to pick up the sixth spot, ten points behind No. 5-Union.

Defending GSC Champion, Lee earned 81 points in the poll to take the top spot, while UAH (72) and Mississippi Christian (63) rounded out the top three.

Montevallo finished seventh at the GSC Championships last season and 15^th at the NCAA DII South Region Championships.

The Falcons open the 2026 season on Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Memphis Twilight in Memphis, Tenn.
