Biography
2023-24 (5TH YEAR): Jered competed in five meets during his 5th year as a Falcon. Poland posted his top finish of the season at the Delta State Invitational where he took third place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:42.05.
2022-23 (SENIOR): Jered came in fifth place against Birmingham Southern and Millsaps in the 400 Y IM with a time of 4:44.97 and took fifth against Birmingham Southern in the 200 Y Breast notching a time of 2:22.31.
2021-22 (JUNIOR): Had season best times in the 100 and 200 Breast 400 IM while earning a best time in the 200 IM 2:03.60
2020-21 (SOPHOMORE): Saw a top five finish in the 200 breast, placing fourth with a time of 2:25.96 against Ouachita Baptist … Set a new personal record in the 50 breast clocking a time of 27.14 at the Delta State Christmas Invitational … Completed a career high time of 2:05.34 in the 200 IM at the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championships
2019-20 (FRESHMAN): Swam in the New South Intercollegiate Swim Championships where he set personal records in the 50 breast (28.59), 100 breast (1:00.78), and the 200 breast (2:11.01) … Ranked second in Montevallo history in the 400 IM with a time of (4:24.22).
HIGH SCHOOL: Holds the Walker High School individual record in the 100-yard breast stroke...100-yard butterfly...200-yard individual medley...100-yard freestyle...Won first place at the 2018 City Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke...also competed for Crawfish Aquatics.
