2022-23 (SENIOR): Rix placed inside the top five 9 times during his Senior year campaign. His best finish of the season came against Ouachita Baptist where he came in third place with a time of 5:22.56 in the 500 Y Free. At the New South Conference Championships, Sam posted a personal best time of 49.17 in the 100 Y Free.

2021-22 (JUNIOR): Continues to impress setting personal best times in 100 Free 51.09, 100 Fly 53.91, 200 Fly 1:58.05 and 200 IM 2:03.87

2020-21 (SOPHOMORE): Created a new career high mark in the 50 breast (35.70) and the 50 back (28.24) during the Depauw Wabash Virtual Invite … Clinched a PR in the 100 IM during the third round of the CSCAA Virtual Cup clocking a time of 1:02.95 … Set multiple personal bests during the New South Intercollegiate Swim Championships including the 100 free (51.34), the 100 fly (54.71), and the 200 fly (2:02.05)

2019-20 (FRESHMAN):  Swam his fastest times in the 100 fly (55.65) and the 200 fly (2:03.78) making him second in school history for both events … Competed in the New South Intercollegiate Swim Championships setting a new personal record in the 50 fly (26.65).

HIGH SCHOOL: Was named the Team Captain for the North Bay Haven Charter Academy Swim team...also competed for Panama City Swim Team.
