University of Montevallo Athletics

2022-23 (SENIOR): Amanda placed in the top 3 in 11 events during her Senior season including a first place against Berry and Emmanuel in the 100 Y Breast with a personal record time of 1:05.25. Against Millsaps, Ware was a second place finisher three times including a PR in the 50 Y Breast with a time of 33.03. She also competed i the 100 Y Breast and the 100 Y IM where she placed second in both with times of 11:11.16 and 1:06.00. 

2021-22 (JUNIOR): She achieved best times the 200 Free, Breast, Fly and IM as well as the 400 IM. This earned her a spot on the 2^nd Team All-Conference squad for the second year in a row.

2020-21 (SOPHOMORE): Saw multiple career high times during the Emmanuel Mid-season Invite including the 50 fly (29.08) and the 100 fly (1:02.26) … Completed a school record time of 2:11.43 in the 200 IM at the Delta State Christmas Invite … Finished first in the 200 breast against Ouachita Baptist with a closing time of 2:34.35 … Second place finish in the 200 IM against Ouachita clocking a time of 2:21.20 … Placed second in the 200 breast at BSC with a time of 2:32.03 … Third in the 200 IM at BSC finishing with a time of 2:18.66 … Second in the 100 breast stroke against BSC with a time of 1:12.59 … Contributed to the 200 freestyle relay unit that took second at Birmingham Southern with a finals time of 1:46.96 … Set several new personal bests during the NSISC Championships including the 200 breast (2:27.96), a program record in the 200 fly (2:12.32), and the 400 IM (4:40.10) … Was named Second Team All-NSISC

2019-20 (FRESHMAN): Ranked second all-time in multiple events including the 500 free (5:20.84), 1000 free (11:19.53), 50 breast (33.16), 200 breast (2:28.08), 100 fly (1:03.15), 100 IM (1:05.53), 200 IM (2:12.47), and the 400 IM (4:40.18).

HIGH SCHOOL: Ware was named to the Honorable Hall of Fame as a three-time varsity letter winner in high school...also competed for the ACE Aquatic Club as team captain.

PERSONAL: Ware plans to major in Business Management at Montevallo...she is the daughter of Paul and Mary Evelyn Ware and has three brothers, Sean Adam and David, one sister, Jessica...Amanda’s sister, Jessica, is a sophomore swimmer at Georgia Southern University.
