2022-23 (SENIOR): Nicolas started his Senior season by taking first place against Millsaps in the 500 Y free with a time of 4:58.69 and in the 1000 Y Free notching a first place time of 10:22.06. On Nov. 5 against Birmingham Southern, he set a season best time of 10:16.32 in the 1000 Y Free which won him first place. Ioannides took second place twice against Delta State where he swam a time of 4:58.73 in the 500 Y Free and 10:17.33 in the 1000 Y Free. At the New South Conference Championships, Nicolas swam a personal best time of 15:59.02 to take fifth place in the 1650 Y Free.

2021-22 (JUNIOR): In his first season with the Falcons, Nic was the first swimmer to achieve an NCAA “B” qualification time in the 1000 Free with a 9:24.55. He also set team records in the 500 and 1650 Free with 4:36.68 & 16:03.86. This earned him 2^nd Team All-NSISC

PRIOR TO MONTEVALLO:  Nicolas is from Nicosia, Cyprus and went to the Pascal Greek School where he was named the Best Male Athlete ... He also swam for Apoel Swimming where he was named the Best Club Swimmer ... Prior to Montevallo Ioannides attended Barton Community College in Wilson, North Carolina ... He wants to further his education by pursuing a degree in exercise and nutrition science.
