Kling prepped at Acadiana High School under Coach Jan-Scott Richard…a multiple award winner, Kling was named All-State 2^nd team, 1^st Team All-District, and Offensive MVP his junior season…as a senior Kling was named 1^st Team All-State, All-District, All-Metro…Kling was also named to the All-Star West Team and won the Offensive MVP…played club soccer with the BRSC/CSC Alliance
