Was named a Gold Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll... was a recipient of the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award... competed in six outdoor events for the Falcons during his sophomore season... participated in the javelin throw and discus throw competition... posted a career-best second-place finish in the javelin throw competition at the Birmingham-Southern Invitational with a mark of 47.43 meters... recorded a career-best mark of 48.78 meters in the javelin throw competition at the Heart of Dixie Brawl, which placed him third overall in individual standings... recorded a career-best mark of 29.95 meters in the discus throw competition at the Heart of Dixie Brawl, which placed him seventh overall in individual standings.
