Biography
2024-25 (SENIOR)
Indoor: Competed in two meets during the indoor season. Placed 13th in the 1000m with a time of 2:40.37 at the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker. Finished with a time of 2:00.96 in the 800m at the Samford January Invite.
Outdoor: Competed in six meets during the outdoor season. He placed 12th in the 400m with a time of 51.66 at the Falcon Classic & Multi. Earned a top-ten finish at the Troy Doc Anderson Invitational & Multi, as he placed ninth in the 800m with a season best time of 1:58.79. He placed 15th in the 800m at the GSC Championships with a time of 1:58.95.
2023-2024 (JUNIOR): Did not compete.
2022-23 (SOPHOMORE)
Outdoor- Cofield placed top-5 in seven of his eleven events competed in including a first place finish in the 4x800 at the Emory Thrills in the Hills 2023 with a mark of 7:52.57. He also set a PR in the 1500 with a time of 4:06.50 at the Emory Thrills in the Hills 2023 and another PR in the 800-meter at the 2023 Gulf South Conference Championship with a mark of 1:53.99.
2021-22 (FRESHMAN)
Indoor - Took fourth in the DMR with a time of 11:30.24 in the Emory Crossplex Showdown... Notched a PR in the mile, taking 32nd place with a time of 4:43.08 at the Buccaneer Indoor Track and Field Invitational .... Set a career high in the 800 with a time of 1:58.46 taking 14th place at the GSC Championships .... Named to GSC Winter All-Academic Honor Roll
Outdoor - Saw action in three events... notched a PR in the 1500 with a time of 4:12.97 taking 7th place at Falcon Classic & Multi Invite.. Set a career mark in the 800 with a time of 1:57.49 taking 13th place...
