Biography
2016... Competed in two indoor events and four outdoor events for the Falcons during his sophomore season... participated in the 1,500-meter run, 3,000-meter run, 5,000-meter run and 1-mile run... tied his career-best fourth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run at the Heart of Dixie Brawl with a career-best time of 16:12.30... posted a career-best time of 9:14.17 in the 3,000-meter run at the KMS Invitational, which placed him 12th overall in individual standings... recorded a career-best time of 4:18.11 in the 1,500-meter run at the Birmingham-Southern Invitational, which placed him 16th overall in individual standings... recorded a career-best time of 4:37.17 in the 1-mile run at the Birmingham-Southern Icebreaker, which placed him eighth overall in individual standings.

Competed in four events for the Falcons during his freshman season... participated in the 3,000-meter run and 5,000-meter run, as well as the 4x800-meter relay event... posted a season-best mark of 9:33.31 in the 3,000-meter run at the Cougar Open, which placed him 17th overall in individual standings... posted a season-best time of 16:27.86 in the 5,000-meter run at the Hilltop Twilight Classic, which placed him fourth overall in individual standings.

Graduated from Spain Park High School in Hoover, Ala. in the spring of 2013... recorded a personal 5K best time of 16:25... placed seventh overall in individual standings at the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A State Championship meet... won the Hoover Invitational cross country individual title... earned his team's Most Valuable Runner Award in 2012... also earned the team's Prefontaine Award in 2010.
