2024-25 (SOPHOMORE):
Indoor: Competed in four meets during the indoor season. Opened the year at the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker where he posted a time of 8.98 in the 60m Hurdles and a height of 1.75m in the High Jump. Black earned a pair of top-ten finishes at the GSC Championships, as he placed ninth in the 60m Hurdles with a personal record of 8.76 and tenth in the High Jump with a height of 1.75m.
Outdoor: Competed in six meets during the outdoor season. Opened the outdoor campaign at the UWA Invitational with a first place finish in the High Jump with a height of 1.85m and a fifth place finish in the 110m Hurdles. Placed eighth in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.79 at the Falcon Classic and Multi. Recorded a pair of top-ten finishes at the Troy Doc Anderson Invitational & Multi, placing sixth in the High Jump (1.75m) and tenth in the 100m Hurdles (16.20). Followed that up with a pair of top-ten finishes at the Berry Field Day Invite, including a ninth place finish in the High Jump (1.81m). At the GSC Championships, he placed seventh in the High Jump (1.80m) and tenth in the 110m Hurdles (16.14).

2023-24 (FRESHMAN):
Outdoor: Competed in six meets during the 2023-24 outdoor season. Black set a personal record at the Emory Thrills in the Hills with a time of 15.78 in the 110-meter hurdles for a third-place finish. He also posted a third place finish in the high jump as he cleared a height of 1.70 meters at the same meet. At the GSC Outdoor Championships, he set a PR in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.25. He posted another PR in the long jump this season with a distance of 6.05 meters. 
Indoor: Competed in six meets during the 2023-24 indoor season. At the Emory Crossplex Showdown, Black set personal record's in the 60-meter with a time of 7.69 and in the 300-meter with a time of 41.67. He notched another PR in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.82 at the Samford Open. His top finish came at the GSC Indoor Championship where he placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.10.
