Indoor: Competed in four meets during the indoor season. Placed first in the 3000m with a time of 8:34.45 at the UAB Blazer Invitational. Placed fifth in the Mile with a time of 4:13.74 at the Samford Open. Placed first in the 3000m with a personal record of 8:23.94 at the UAB Green and Gold Invitational. He earned a podium finish at the GSC Championships, placing second in the Mile with a personal record time of 4:05.22. Placed sixth in the 3000m with a time of 8:27.28.
Outdoor: Competed in four meets during the outdoor season. Placed first in the 800m with a time of 1:52.73 at the Falcon Classic & Multi. Placed fifth in the 1500m with a time of 3:48.66 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. Placed first in the 5000m with a time of 14:26.52 at the UAH Rocket City Invitational. At the GSC Championships, he placed fourth in the 5000m with a time of 14:47.34.
