2013… Was named the Peach Belt Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year... was named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District 3 team... was named a Gold Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll... was named second team All-Peach Belt Conference after finishing eighth overall in individual standings at the conference championships… was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team in women’s cross country… was named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team… was a recipient of the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award... competed in six women’s cross country events for the Falcons during her senior season… posted two top-10 finishes during the season… posted a season-best third place finish in the Falcon Classic with a time of 24:07.69… competed in five women’s track and field events for the Falcons during her senior season… posted a season-best second place finish in the 5,000-meter run at the Birmingham-Southern Invitational with a time of 18:53.06.

2011... Appeared in all seven races for the Falcons... named First Team All-PBC... finished first on the team at the Pacer Collegiate Invitational... ran the second fastest 5K time in school history at the Royal XC Challenge with a 19:16.5... ran the fifth fastest 6K time in school history at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships with a 23:42.9... ran the 10th fastest 6K time in school history at the PBC Championships with a 24:04.73... finished seventh overall at the PBC Championships... had two top-five overall finishes during the season... named a Gold Scholar on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll... named Academic All-District by CoSIDA... named to the All-Academic List by USTFCCCA... named to the PBC All-Academic Team.

2010... Competed in all seven races for the Falcons... led the team in the first four races of the season... finished third at the Georgia Southwestern Remembrance Race... finished seventh at the Mercer Runfit Sports Invitational... top time came at the Gulf Coast Stampede with a 19:59.5 which ranks tenth on the all-time list at UM... named a Gold Scholar on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll.

High School… Prepped at Enterpirse High School… awarded the cross country Captain’s Award… member of the National Honors Society… member of the French Honors Society… recipient of the Valedictorian Scholarship.

Personal… An accounting major at UM… daughter of Hidehito and Asako Matsunaga… has two brothers, Young-Kook and Hong-Kook, and two sisters, Jin-Mi and Ka-Jong.
