Laura Alford will return for her senior yearwith the Falcons.

2008... Alford played in 16 of the Falcons 20contests, starting 8. 

2006-2007... Competed at Hinds CommunityCollege where she was a two-time MACJC All-State selection andnamed to the Who's Who among Community and Junior CollegeStudents... team were NJCAA Region XXIII Champions, District runnerup and MACJC State Champions, posting a 16-4 record her sophomoreseason... tallied five goals and two assist in 19 matches whilecompeting for coach Kori Crutchfield... also named to theNJCAA All-Academic Team.

High School... All-District selection and threetime team captain while competing for coaches Montgomery Hinton andCecil Hinds at Northwest Rankin High School... honor roll studentand graduated with honors... named to Who's Who Among American HighSchool Students... recipient of National English Merit Award,national ACT recognition and Student of the Month... competed forcoach Shane Barden and the Jackson Futbol Club...team were statechampions in 2003 and 2004.

Personal... Has a sister, Ashley... akinesiology major at UM, she is the daughter of David and DeborahAlford.
