Biography
2022-23 (SENIOR): Anisa set a personal record against Berry and Emmanuel in the 50 Y Back with a time of 18:49.46. Her best finish of the season came against Millsaps in the 50 Y Back notching a time of 34.53.
2021-22 (JUNIOR): Anisa suffered and injury early in the season and wasn’t able to compete. Keep an eye out for a strong return her Senior year.
2020-21 (SOPHOMORE): Completed a personal best time of 1:15.43 in the 100 IM during the third round of the CSCAA Virtual Cup, and a PR in the 50 fly (34.59) during round 4a.
2019-20 (FRESHMAN): Holds multiple distance records for Montevallo including the 1000 free (11:07.88) and the 1650 free (18:49.46) … Recorded a PR mark in the 100 free at Delta State Invitational with a 59.58 time.
HIGH SCHOOL: Nelson was named All-District in the 200-meter free, 500 meter free and the 100-meter backstroke...also competed for the Montgomery Aquatic Race Club...received the most dedicated award...leadership award.
PERSONAL: Nelson is undecided on her major at Montevallo...she is the daughter of Frank and Karen Nelson and has two brothers, Saimasina and Siaki.
