Stevie is entering his second year in his current role at Montevallo and serves as the primary contact for Volleyball, Acrobatics & Tumbling, Baseball, Men's and Women's Swimming and Wrestling.
Szucs comes to UM from Columbus State University where he was an assistant to the sports information director while earning his Bachelor's degree from the university in the fall of 2022. Szucs covered the 2022 women's soccer team that hosted the PBC Championship and that went to the NCAA Final Four in Seattle, Washington. In the spring of 2022, he covered the 2023 baseball team that hosted the PBC Championship and that went on to win the Southeast Regional. In the spring of 2023, Szucs covered the baseball team that made another trip to the Southeast Regional.
Prior to working in the sports information department, Stevie pitched in the Cougar bullpen in 2021.
Szucs currently resides in Calera, Alabama with his Fiance Kristina and his one-eyed, one-eared cat, Gideon.
