2023-24 (SENIOR)
Indoor: Competed in six meets during the 2023-24 indoor season. Shipman won the weight throw at the Samford Open with a distance of 16.28 meters. She was crowned GSC Conference champion in the weight throw as she won with a NCAA Provo distance of 18.50 meters. At the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships, she placed in 12th nationally with her top throw of 18.06 meters. 
Outdoor: Competed in five meets during the 2023-24 outdoor season. At the Falcon Classic, Shipman set a personal record with a first place throw of 49.90 in the hammer throw. She won the hammer event at the Emory Thrills in the Hills with a distance of 42.52 meters. At the same meet, she took second place in the discus with a distance of 38.07 meters. 

2022-23 (JUNIOR)
Indoor- Shipman competed in seven events during the 2022-23 indoor season where she placed in the top-5 four times. At the Gulf South Indoor Track and Field Championship, Nyla set a personal record in Shot Put with a distance of 12.39 meters. 
Outdoor- She won her first event of the 2022-23 season at the 2023 Falcon Classic and Multi in the Hammer Throw where she threw a distance of 45.46 meters. She had four top-5 finishes while one of them came at the Emory Thrills in the Hills 2023 in Shot Put where she placed third with a throw of 12.24 meters. 

2021-22 (SOPHOMORE)
Indoor - Won her first career event with a Shot Put distance of 11.60m at the Emory Crossplex Showdown ... Set a new Shot Put PR with a toss of 12.29m at the Buccaneer Indoor Track and Field Invitational ... Recorded a career-best Weight Throw distance with a 3rd-place mark of 16.52m at the GSC Indoor Championships
Outdoor - Recorded her first career Hammer Throw victory with a distance of 45.26m at the Falcon Classic ...Set a new career-best in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 47.19m at the UAB Green and Gold Invite ... Set a new Discus PR at the UAB Green and Gold Invite with a distance of 40.31m

2020-21 (FRESHMAN)
Indoor - Set a new career best in the Weight Throw with a 5th-place distance of 14.02m at the GSC Indoor Championships ... Recorded a season-high Shot Put with a 7th-place distance of 10.70m at the Samford Open
Outdoor - Recorded a season-high Hammer Throw with a distance of 41.30m at the UAB Spring Invitational ... Notched two 5th-place finishes at the Falcon Classic with a Discus Throw of 32.75m and a Shot Put distance of 11.29m ... Set a season-best finish with a 2nd-place Discus Throw of 35.95m at the Lee Last Chance
