Competed in seven events during the 2017 outdoor season... Won first-place at the UAB Vulcan Invite with a time of 17:32.98 in the 5000... set a personal best time and won first-place in the 5000 at the Hillsdale Classic with a time of 17:09.71... took first-place in the 10,000 with a time of 36:44.10... had a first-place time of 17:11.40 in the 5000 at the Berry Field Day Invite... won first-place and set a PR in the 10,000 at the PBC T&F Championships with a time of 36:05.07 and also took first int he 5000 with a time of 17:34.36... At the Peach Belt Outdoor T&F Championships, Katie won first-place in both the 10,000 with a time of 38:15.99 and in the 5000 with a time of 17:58.25. USTFCCCA All-Southeast Region Selection
