Biography
2024-25 (JUNIOR)
Indoor: Competed in four meets during the indoor season. Placed tenth in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.43m at the UAB Green and Gold Invite. She earned a podium finish at the GSC Championships, as she placed third in the Pole Vault with a indoor season best height of 3.60m. Also contributed to a 4:22.48 ran by the 4x400m Relay team at conference.
Outdoor: Competed in six meets during the outdoor season. Opened the outdoor campaign at the UWA Invitational where she placed first in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.35m and set a personal record of 28.37 in the 200m. Saw another first place finish in the Pole Vault at the Berry Field Day Invite with a height of 3.37m. At the GSC Championships, she placed second in the Pole Vault (3.50m), fifth in the Triple Jump (9.96m), and contributed to a 4:32.72 ran by the 4x400m Relay team.
2023-24 (SOPHOMORE)
Indoor: Competed in six meets during the 2023-24 indoor season. Dendy totaled four podium finishes during the indoor season while she set a personal record of 3.70 meters in the pole vault at the GSC Indoor Championships. She also competed in the triple jump where she had a season best distance of 9.57 meters.Â
Outdoor: Competed in seven meets during the 2023-24 outdoor season. Dendy came away with three first place finishes in the pole vault during the outdoor season. She would win with heights of 3.41 meters, 3.60 meters and 3.61 meters. At the GSC Outdoor Championships, she would come in second as she cleared a height of 3.60 meters.Â
2022-23 (FRESHMAN)
Indoor- Dendy competed in five events during the 2022-23 indoor season where she won two of the events. She took first place at the 2023 KMS Invitational in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.35 meters and she would win the Pole Vault at the Emory Crossplex Showdown 2023 with the same height.Â
Outdoor- During the 2022-23 outdoor season, Leah won three Pole Vault events and set her personal record at the 2023 Gulf South Conference Championship in Pole Vault at a mark of 3.60 meters. She set another PR at the 2023 Falcon Classic and Multi in the 200 as she ran a time of 29.42. Leah continued her success as she notched her third personal record of the season, this time in Triple Jump with a distance of 10.09 meters at he 2023 Gulf South Conference Championship.
