Became the program’s first 165-pounder to qualify for the NCAA Championships...Placed in four tournaments during the season, including the Georgia Open, Hawk Classic, Midwest Classic, and NCAA Super Region II Tournament...Finished second on the team with 22 wins and seven technical falls...Posted a 5-1 record in dual competition...Collected two victories over ranked opponents, defeating No. 20 Anthony Erickson and No. 2 Cory Peterson...Put together a strong showing at the NCAA Super Region II Tournament, earning four wins en route to a third-place finish to punch his ticket to Nationals...Victories included a 20-2 technical fall, an 8-3 decision, a fall in 1:40, and a 14-13 decision over UNC Pembroke’s Will Lowery.

Finished 7-6 overall with a 2-0 record in duals...Recorded two falls, one technical fall, and one major decision.

Attended Oxford High School where he was coached by Matt Hicks (2015-18), Kyle Routon (2018-20), and Rusty Mayfield (2020-21)...Two-time state champion, winning titles at 126 pounds as a freshman and 145 pounds as a sophomore...Six-time state placer and five-time state finalist...Also earned state finalist finishes as a junior, senior, and eighth grader...Placed fifth at the state tournament at 113 pounds as a seventh grader...Helped lead the Yellow Jackets to three state dual championships (2017-19), a runner-up finish in 2020, and state tournament championships in 2017 and 2018, with runner-up honors in 2019.
