Ben Chajet begins his first season as the Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Falcons ahead of the 2026 season.
Chajet previously served as Montevallo’s Volunteer Assistant Coach in 2023, working with the team’s hitters and outfielders while assisting with day-to-day operations. That season, he helped guide the Falcons to a 39-16 record, a second-place finish in the Gulf South Conference, and an NCAA Regional appearance. Montevallo led the league in nine offensive categories, and the 39 wins marked the program’s highest total since 2007.
Following his time at Montevallo, Chajet spent two seasons at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., where he held multiple coaching roles. He also gained additional experience as a summer coach at IMG in 2022, working with pitchers, hitters, and infielders, and as a Mental Performance Coach with the Mizuno Outlaws organization in Tysons, Va., in 2021.
As a player, Chajet competed at Dean College in Franklin, Mass., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2020. He went on to receive a Master of Science with a specialization in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology from Barry University in 2022.
