Kaitlyn Walker

Kaitlyn Walker enters her first year as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Montevallo. She serves as the athletic trainer for the Falcons' women’s basketball and cross country/ track and field programs.

Walker joined the Montevallo athletic training staff in 2026 after earning her Master of Athletic Training from the Bethune Cookman University. During her time at BCU, she worked under a certified athletic trainer with the Wildcats' football and softball programs while gaining valuable experience in the Division I setting.

Walker gained experience assisting with a variety of sports across the high school, NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, and sports medicine outreach settings. She completed clinical rotations at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Bethune-Cookman University, in addition to participating in outreach experiences with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Sports Medicine.

A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Walker earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Alabama A&M University before completing her graduate studies at Bethune Cookman in 2026
