ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Montevallo women's soccer team was on the road Saturday, traveling down to Florida to take on the Flagler Saints. The Falcons played hard and left St. Augustine with one point after battling the Saints to a 0-0 draw.
Corrie Eyer and Christine Prince led Montevallo in shots, recording three and two, respectively. Of her three shots, Eyer was able to put two on goal.
Taylor Kerr remained a standout in net, as she was credited with 11 saves in her shutout performance.
The Falcons were awarded six corner kicks in the game, compared to Flagler's four.
The women's soccer team will be on the road again this Wednesday, when they will take on Georgia Southwestern in another Peach Belt Conference contest.
