MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo junior Katherine Goldsby led the Falcons with 11 points in a 100-54 loss to visiting University of North Alabama in their home opener Nov. 19 at Trustmark Arena.
Goldsby finished 4-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-4 from the charity stripe for the Falcons, who fell to 0-3 on the season.
Senior Carrington Caise, who dished out a team-high seven assists, and sophomore Ellie Mouyal contributed eight points each.
Junior Jasmine Newsome grabbed a team-best six rebounds off the bench.
Corinne White led the Lions (2-0) with 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor, including a perfect 5-of-5 performance from beyond the arc.
The Falcons will return to action Saturday, Nov. 22 with a trip to Huntsville to face UAH in non-conference play.
Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
