HOW IT HAPPENED

In a match with limited scoring opportunities for both sides, Flagler capitalized on a scoring chance in the opening half and the Saints got the only goal they needed in a 1-0 win over the Falcons in a Peach Belt Conference match.

The Saints' Keiron Matthews directed a header past Montevallo goalkeeper Yannic Horn off a corner kick by Caleb Austin in the 14th minute of the contest, accounting for the lone goal scored in the match.

Flagler finished with just four shots on goal, while the Falcons managed just two attempts on goal.

Horn registered three saves in the contest.
