How it Happened

The Falcons and the Bearcats battled for the first half with neither side willing to break for the other.  Yannic Horn was battered by a barrage of shots as the Falcons were outshot 12-2 in the first half.

The deadlock was eventually broken by the Bearcats in 56^th minute when a shot by Lander's Steven Gonzalez from the top of the box found the back of the net to give Lander the 1-0 lead.

The Bearcats appeared to have the game in control but the Falcons fought back, taking full advantage of the opportunities that came their way.

In the 74^th minute the Falcons struck with an equalizer off of the leg of Josh Keller.  Steven Rocca set up Keller on the right side of goal and Keller found the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1.

Less than a minute later the Falcons struck again with the games go ahead goal.  Keller, again from the right side, got the ball from Soham Kathuria and ripped a shot from 30 yards out for the score.  The Falcons led the Bearcats 2-1.

Josh Keller scored both goals for the Falcons in today's matchup, he now has four on the year.

The Falcons were outshot 25-6 in today's game and Horn weathered the storm recording nine saves
