How it Happened

Both the Falcons and the Mountain Lions used the first half to limit the other team's scoring opportunities.  The Falcons held Young Harris to only 8 shots in the first half. 

Both teams headed into the half with the score tied at 0-0.

The Falcons broke the deadlock in the 54^th minute.  Anthony Birikorang got the ball at the top of the box and flicked it over to Josh Keller on the rights side.  Keller found the back of an open net to give the Falcons 1-0 lead. 

Again, the Falcons defense held strong as they withstood the Mountain Lions attempts to knot up the game once more. 

In the 76^th minute the Mountain Lions broke through the defense with an equalizer to tie the game again at 1-1.

Young Harris didn't waste time to score again and took a 2-1 lead in the 86^th minute off of a header and then two minutes later scored the game's final goal of the match in the 88^th minute to finish with a score of 3-1.

The Falcons were outshot 22-8 in tonight's contest and had three shots on frame.

Yannic Horn had seven saves for the Falcons in today's match.
