How it Happened
The Falcons got off to a quick start and took advantage of the early scoring opportunity.
In the second minute Brooke Griffin found Gonzales in the box off of a throw in and Gonzales took a shot and found the top right corner of the net to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead.
In the 30th minute the Mountain Lions tied up the game with an equalizer that was collected on the left side of the box to tie the game at 1-1.
The Mountain Lions then scored the game winning goal in the 36th minute when a cross into the box was collected and shot past the goalkeeper, as Young Harris took a 2-1 lead.
Neither team surrendered a goal for the remainder of the match as each opposing defense worked to limit the scoring opportunities of the other side.
