ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The University of Montevallo women's basketball team fell to host Flagler College 84-65 in Peach Belt Conference action Feb. 21.
Junior Jasmine Thomas led the Falcons (1-24 overall, 0-18 in Peach Belt Conference) with a career-high 16 points off the bench on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor. Thomas eclipsed her career high of 14 points against Georgia Southwestern earlier in the season.
Senior Carrington Caise and junior Jacquelyn Thompson added 15 points each. Caise finished 5-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-6 at the charity stripe while also dishing out a team-high four assists. Thompson knocked down 5-of-7 attempts from beyond the arc.
Junior Katherine Goldsby contributed 11 points to go along with a team-high five rebounds.
Montevallo will return to action Wednesday, Feb. 25 against Young Harris College in its final game of the season.
The Falcons will honor Caise on Senior Day against the Mountain Lions. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
