How it Happened

The Braves and the Falcons battled the first 45 minutes and entered the half tied up at 0-0.

After the break both teams continued to battle until the 69th minute when Moritz Wagner broke the deadlock for Montevallo giving the Falcons a 1-0 lead.

However, the Falcons lead would not last long as the Braves knotted the game up at 1-1 with an equalizer in the 79th minute.

With the game tied at 1-1 after the first 90 minutes the game entered overtime to see if a winner could be determined.

In the 102nd minute the Braves got one past the goalkeeper for the 2-0 victory.

Stat of the Match

The Falcons out shot the Braves 32-12 with 11 shots being on goal.

Seven Falcon players had multiple shots in today's contest with Wagner and Shawn Healy both leading the team with eight. Healy had three on goal while Wagner had four and tonight's only goal.
