Cleveland, Miss. – The women's soccer team kicked off the 2015 season with a game on the road against Delta State.  The Falcons came up short as they fell to the Statesmen 1-0.

The lone goal of the game came in the 44^th minute when the Statesmen scored on a header off of a corner kick.

The Falcons had opportunities to throughout the game to equalize the score but were unable to capitalize on those opportunities with 10 shots on goal.

On Sunday the Falcons return home to face off against Lincoln Memorial.  That game is scheduled for a 1:00pm start.
