HOW IT HAPPENED

-Georgia College took all the shots in the first half. Of the Bobcats seven shots, the best was a long range effort from Sol Baldassini which was tipped over the bar by Ellie Mouyal to keep Georgia College off the board.

-The Falcons were dominant for spells in the second half but almost conceded a goal in the 89th minute. Georgia College's Ragnheidur Bjarnadottir hit the underside of the crossbar and the rebound fell to Rahliat Animashaun whose shot was saved by Mouyal.

-Montevallo won the game in the 91st minute. Less than a minute into the first overtime period, Ally Reeves delivered a cross into the box from the left side. Hannah Williamson met the cross at the far post and found the back of the net to give the Falcons their fourth win on the season.

STAT OF THE GAME

-Ellie Mouyal played a massive role in keeping a clean sheet for the Falcons. She had eight saves in the game to help lead the Falcons to victory.

UP NEXT

Montevallo travels to Dahlonega, Georgia to play UNC Pembroke on Saturday, October 15th in a neutral site contest. Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. Central.
