HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Falcons had the better of the first half chances but the Saints opened the scoring in the 30th minute. A free kick from the right side of the field was delivered by Henrique Salomao. Kuta misjudged the cross which fell to Pedro Silva who scored a free header at the far post.
-The Falcons were awarded a penalty in the second half after keeper Craggs took down Liam Moore. Moore's spot kick was to the left but the keeper dove to his right and kept the effort out of the goal to preserve the lead.
-Petrovich was sent off for a second yellow card offense before the Saints doubled the lead with a goal from Oscar Davidsson. With a man advantage, Flagler found space and substitute Matheus Carvalho set up his forward who tapped in at the far left post.
-Montevallo had many chances throughout the game. Moore was denied by Craggs from open play as well as being denied from 12 yards out. Rocca had a breakaway and shot narrowly wide left. Morton and Gonzalez were denied by the crossbar and post.
-Silbar was sent off for the Saints with a minute to go, but it was too late to make a significant difference.
