How It Happened

-UAH won 1-0 on a second half goal from Arieal Alexander. The assist was credited to senior Melody Hoernschemeyer.

-Montevallo fielded an unchanged starting 11, including freshman keeper Judith Perez-Bayon, who made her second appearance in goal.

-Taylor Garrison followed performance against Delta State with another great performance from center back. The converted midfielder has looked a solid key to the Montevallo resurgence.

-The Falcons used eight substitutes including two freshman and two transfers.

-The Falcons started yet again with freshman Tylor Ring and Michaila Franklin up top, but also saw Hampton Brinson, Simone Nelson and Haley Bouler play at forward.

Stat of the Game

-The Falcons were evenly matched with UAH which was reflected by both teams' five shots on goal.

Up Next

The Falcons travel to Montgomery on Wednesday, September 14, to take on Faulkner. The game will be their third non-conference game and last before the conference schedule starts against Francis Marion on September 17th. Kickoff against the Eagles will be at 5:00pm.
