MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Montevallo men's soccer program earned a 1-1 draw against Christian Brothers on Sunday afternoon in Gulf South Conference play.
Today's draw was the second of the year for the Falcons who are now 5-3-2 on the season and 2-1-2 in conference play.
In the evenly contested match, the Falcons got on the board first in the 71'. Montevallo was awarded a penalty kick and Joshua Keller converted the PK for his second goal of the season.
Montevallo appeared to be in control until the Buccaneers were able to draw a foul and were awarded a penalty kick in the 77'. Xavi Loa converted the penalty kick for the Buccaneers to tie the game at 1-1.
