- Â Â Â Â Â Â Kentucky Wesleyan jumped out to an early lead in the opening half and led by as many as 11 points following a layup by Daniel Dzierzawski with 7:38 remaining in the half, which gave the Panthers a 27-16 advantage.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Chris Williams converted a three-point play with 27 seconds remaining in the first half to trim the Panthers' lead to 37-35 heading into the locker room at halftime.
-       Montevallo tied the contest at 43-43 following a layup by A.J. Luke with 15:43 remaining in the game. Â
- Â Â Â Â Â Â The Falcons took their first lead on a pair of free throws by Julio Guity midway through the second half and eventually led 49-45 after Williams knocked down a pair with 12:44 remaining in the game.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â The Panthers used a 5-0 run over the next three minutes to regain control on a layup by Bird Cardwell with 10:04 left in the contest.
