West Florida (11-0 overall, 3-0 in Gulf South Conference) entered the contest ranked No. 21 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II poll and remained undefeated after shooting 55.8 percent from the floor and 55 percent from beyond the arc against the Falcons, who fell to 6-7 overall and 1-3 in Gulf South Conference play.
